Tuesday’ Trails October 7th will be the lovely and now famous ride from The Royal Hotel at Kew carpark to Dunbogan Boatshed cafe via the Beach path at North Haven which adds a few kilometres.
Meet: Kew Hotel Carpark
Time: 8am start. Arrive 7.45am
Finish: Approx 11am
Distance: 36kms
Grade: 2 This is a flat ride following shared paths and boardwalk with only a few hundred metres of bitumen and sharing with cars.We follow boardwalk along the shore of Queens Lake to Laurieton, then shared paths to North Haven where we may ride out along the breakwall path depending on the crowds, we may need to ride road here. Then back to the bridge at North Haven and around the waterfront riding on the new boardwalk through the mangroves to the Boatshed for a coffee stop. We return along the Queens lake trail to the carpark at Kew.
