This is a scenic rural ride north of Port Macquarie. The terrain is undulating and there are hills, but the roads are well graded.
When: Tuesday the 18th of August at 8.15 am for a 8.30 am start
Meet: At the Log Wharf Reserve carpark at the end of Telegraph Point Road
Distance: 39.50 km
Surface: Bitumen
Elevation: 720 m
Time Estimated to finish ride: 11 am
Grade: This is an undulating ride with a fair amount of up and down, but it is all bitumen.
Bike: Road or Gravel or Hybrid bike
Coffee: The Hills Cafe at Sovereign Hills
Important – Mandatory -bring a well-maintained bike, spare tube and tools, water,
snack, money for coffee, sunscreen as required.
First ride free, however rides thereafter require joining Better by Bicycle for an
annual fee of $25. Applications to join are via our website www.bbbpmq.net.au
Cancellation Our intention is to always to operate all rides. The ride leaders have
the call, if weather conditions will force a cancellation. Rides will be posted on
WhatsApp and Facebook 1 Hour before starting time if they are cancelled.
