Sunday Social ride

If you live in the Lighthouse, Crestwood or Dahlsberg area and want to learn how to safely travel into town then don’t miss this this Sunday’s Social ride.

It’s a circuit showcasing two different ways to get from Lighthouse area to town – via the Googik Track and via Ocean Drive. This route is entirely on shared paths and quiet streets. This is the perfect opportunity for you to plan your safe commute into town or just enjoy the beauty of the forested shared paths of Port.

Time: 7.45 for an 8 AM start return time approximately 10 am

Meeting Place: The back of Coles Lighthouse Carpark near the BP

Distance: approx 6.5 km each way

Grade: mostly flat with a few hills and slight inclines. Surface is bitumen, concrete and gravel.

Coffee: Chop n Chill (approximately 8.45 am)

Cost: first ride is free – but see ask people get a membership (just $15) before their second ride

At the end of the ride – if anyone is interested we can show them the way to Tacking Point Primary through a network of hidden shared paths.
