Bicycle Maintenance Workshop

This workshop will cover:
- Pre-ride safety checks
- Checking and replacing brake pads – rim and disk
- Brake adjustment and alignment – rim and disk
- Drive train inspection
- Checking of chain, cassette and chain ring for wear
- How to replace a tube/tyre
- How to repair a punctured tube
- Minor headset adjustments and lever positioning
- Wheels, spokes and quick-release axles
- General cleaning and lubrication
- What tools and spares to carry on your ride
To participate you need to be a financial member of Better By Bicycle.
Please note, places are limited to 8 participants. This workshop is not suitable for e-bikes. A separate workshop will be offered for e-bikes in the future – stay tuned!
On the day you will need to bring your bike, an Australian standards approved helmet, clothes that can get dirty, snacks and a sense of curiosity.
