We were very happy to see the new bike racks installed at the Port Macquarie Pool this morning.

We posted to our Facebook page about the lack of bike racks at the pool back in August – and within a few days of the post – the Port Macquarie Hastings Council had contacted the pool about installing some bike racks. After some back and forth regarding placement – the racks are in place – and in use!

Word has it, there will be some heading to Kendall, Laurieton and Wauchope pool as well. Let us know if you spot some!

Thanks to everyone that commented on our August Facebook post regarding the lack of bike racks. Your comments give our posts weight. It goes to show that sometimes – council is listening after all.
