This ride very scenic\, shady and almost entirely off road. It’s a great beginner ride and a great way to learn the many tracks and short cuts of Port Macquarie. All welcome! \nMeet: Short Street car park – near the Buller Street Bridge \nWhen: Meet 8.15 am for an 8.30 am start \nDistance: 18 km. Half well-graded gravel – half bitumen. Mostly flat with a few hills. \nBike: Any bike excluding a narrow tyred road bike. \nGrade: 1 \nCoffee: Ruins Cafe \nCost: First ride free\, after that you can join us for an annual fee of $15. \nDon’t forget your bike\, water bottle\, sunscreen and helmet. \nPlaces are limited to 20 so please register to secure your place. \n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday’ Trails October 7th will be the lovely and now famous ride from The Royal Hotel at Kew carpark to Dunbogan Boatshed cafe via the Beach path at North Haven which adds a few kilometres.\nMeet: Kew Hotel Carpark\nTime: 8am start. Arrive 7.45am\nFinish: Approx 11am\nDistance: 36kms\nGrade: 2 This is a flat ride following shared paths and boardwalk with only a few hundred metres of bitumen and sharing with cars.We follow boardwalk along the shore of Queens Lake to Laurieton\, then shared paths to North Haven where we may ride out along the breakwall path depending on the crowds\, we may need to ride road here. Then back to the bridge at North Haven and around the waterfront riding on the new boardwalk through the mangroves to the Boatshed for a coffee stop. We return along the Queens lake trail to the carpark at Kew.\nBike type: gravel \, mtn bike or hybrid

DESCRIPTION:If you live in the Lighthouse\, Crestwood or Dahlsberg area and want to learn how to safely travel into town then don’t miss this this Sunday’s Social ride.\n\nIt’s a circuit showcasing two different ways to get from Lighthouse area to town – via the Googik Track and via Ocean Drive. This route is entirely on shared paths and quiet streets. This is the perfect opportunity for you to plan your safe commute into town or just enjoy the beauty of the forested shared paths of Port.\n\nTime: 7.45 for an 8 AM start return time approximately 10 am\nMeeting Place: The back of Coles Lighthouse Carpark near the BP\nDistance: approx 6.5 km each way\nGrade: mostly flat with a few hills and slight inclines. Surface is bitumen\, concrete and gravel.\nCoffee: Chop n Chill (approximately 8.45 am)\n\nCost: first ride is free – but see ask people get a membership (just $15) before their second ride\n\nAt the end of the ride – if anyone is interested we can show them the way to Tacking Point Primary through a network of hidden shared paths.\n\nAll riders ride at their own risk.
